APC candidate Lucky Aiyedatiwa emerges winner in Ondo governorship election

In a significant development, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has emerged winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Ondo State.

Aiyedatiwa, who is the incumbent governor, polled 366,781 votes to defeat Peoples Democratic Party candidate, who scored 117,845 votes, which Zenith Labour Party candidate secured 2,692 to came distant third in the election.
