DSS Rescues Abducted Local Govt Secretary in Kano

The Department of State Services(DSS), has rescued the Administrative Secretary of Kibiya Local Government of Kano, Hamza Durya, who was recently abducted by kidnappers.

A statement by the state Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Waiya, said two suspects were arrested while while two others remains at large.

The government said the coordinated operation, by the DSS led to the successful rescued of the victim.

The State Government considers the feat as a welcome development and a testament to the dedication and professionalism of the security agencies operating in the state
