The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), through its Youth Entrepreneurs (NYE), says it will continue to provide mentorship, training, and opportunities for young Nigerians while connecting them with investors and global markets.

National Coordinator of NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs, Amb. Dr. Sameera Abubakar Abdulahi, disclosed this at the International Youth Day with a one-day summit in Abuja, bringing together key stakeholders from government, private sector, and development partners to chart pathways for youth empowerment in business.

Speaking at the summit, Amb. Dr. Sameera Abubakar Abdulahi said the goal is to reduce unemployment, promote startups, and build sustainable businesses that empowers youth to become drivers of innovation and growth.

NACCIMA President, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, praised the youth arm’s efforts, reaffirming the association’s role in trade facilitation, enterprise development, and market access. “We call on government and the private sector to support our youth entrepreneurs, as they remain the cornerstone of Nigeria’s sustainable economic future,” he said.

The event reaffirmed NYE’s commitment to positioning Nigerian youth as catalysts for innovation, inclusive development, and global competitiveness.
