The Rector, Federal Polytechnic Monguno, Engr. Prof. Garba Muhammed Ngala, FNSE, on behalf of council, management, staff, and students of the institution, extends heartfelt felicitations to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and His Excellency, Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, on the joyous occasion of Eid-El-Fitr. He also conveys warm greetings to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, MNI, FNSE, CON, for his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the development of education in the state.
Prof. Ngala further congratulates the entire Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the sacred month of Ramadan 1446 AH, urging them to uphold the values of peace, unity, and compassion exemplified during the holy month. He emphasizes the importance of using this festive period for prayers and renewed commitment to national development.
Federal Polytechnic Monguno was established in 2021 by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, as part of efforts to expand access to quality technical and vocational education in Nigeria. Since its inception, the institution has been committed to equipping students with relevant skills and knowledge to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s economic growth.
Currently, the Polytechnic has a student population of over 500 across its faculties and departments. The institution remains dedicated to fostering academic excellence, innovation, and skills development in various technical and vocational fields.
The Rector expresses profound appreciation to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for his continuous support towards the institution, particularly in infrastructural development and human capacity building. He also acknowledges the contributions of the Distinguished Senator representing Borno North, as well as other stakeholders who have played pivotal roles in advancing the Polytechnic’s mission.
As the Federal Polytechnic Monguno continues to grow, Prof. Ngala reaffirms the institution’s commitment to providing quality technical education and urges all stakeholders to remain steadfast in their support for the advancement of education in Borno State and Nigeria at large.
