In the quest to drive the Renewed Hope Government through technology and innovation, the Kano Digital Industrial Park have been built to support digital advancement and to aid digital revolution in the country.
Speaking at the recommissioning ceremony, the president who was represented by the Honorable minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy Dr Bosun Tijani called on the youths to do everything possible to protect the newly completed park which is now fully equipped to make information Communication Technology (ICT) accessible and inclusive for all.
The minister further reiterated the set back posed on the project when it was destroyed during the August 1, 2024 protest by some angried youths who vandalized the park which was set for commissioning just a week ahead.
Notwithstanding, the Minister thanked the IHS Team who partner with his ministry to rebuild the place to what was commissioned today.

Similarly, the Kano state Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf who was represented by his deputy Comr. Abdulsalam Gwarzo thanked the President, Minister of Communications and the National Communication Commission for making Kano the citadel of this park in the Northwest region of the country.
Other dignitaries at the ceremony include; Honorable minister of youth development Comr. Ayodele Olawande, the Emir of Kano HRH Mahammedu Sanusi II who was represented by HH, Amb. Ahmed Umar OON and others thank the NCC for making Kano a digital hub of the region by the advantage of her population.
It was in line with this land mark achievement, that the Kano state Government confer a traditional title of Sarkin Yaki Digitalization of Kano to Dr Bosun Tijani.
