Gov Yusuf commiserates with Umaru Pate over mother’s death

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Hajiya Hussaina, the mother of Prof. Umaru Pate, President, Society of Nigerian Broadcasters (SNB) and Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Kashere, Gombe State.

In a statement issued on Friday by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Prof. Pate and the entire family.

Governor Yusuf described late Hajiya Hussaina as a devoted and nurturing mother who played a pivotal role in supporting her children and family members to achieve remarkable success in their respective careers.

He further highlighted Prof. Pate’s significant contributions in the field of media and communication, both in Nigeria and globally, as a testament to her positive influence and unwavering support.

The Governor prayed for the Almighty Allah to forgive Hajiya Hussaina’s shortcomings, grant her eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus, and bestow comfort and strength upon the family during this difficult time.
