IGP Appoints Benjamin Hundeyin As New FPRO, redeploys Adejobi To Delta State

The Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has approved the appointment of CSP Benjamin Hundeyin as the new Force Public Relation Officer (FPRO).

Hundeyin was until his new appointment the Public Relation Officer for the Lagos State Police Command.

He is taking over the position of FPRO from DCP Muyiwa Adejobi who has been redeployed to the Delta State Police Command as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations.

DCP Adejobi’s redeployment was necessitated by his recent promotion from Assistant Commissioner to Deputy Commissioner of Police.

Hundeyin’s appointment, was confirmed in a report by Naija Police & U.

Police authorities described the developments as routine administrative adjustments aimed at career progression and manpower optimisation.

Authorities further stated that it is neither punitive nor controversial.
