JUST IN: Unknown casualties as explosion rocks Ibadan

No number of casualties has yet been registered from the deadly explosion that struck Sango area of Ibadan, capital of Oyo state from a popular gas station.

A loud noise was reported around 8pm, echoing across different parts of the Ibadan metropolis as far as Bashorun and Amuda Ojeere on the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.

The Popular Ace Mall housing the popular Ventura Cinemas in Samonda a few hundred meters away from the reported scene of the Explosion in Sango according to residents has partially collapsed.

The extent of casualties remains uncertain as at the time of filing this report.
