The leadership of the Kano State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the unity, progress, and success of the party.

Speaking at a press briefing held in Kano on the recent development in the PDP, the Kano State Chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. Yusuf Ado Kibiya distance the state chapter of the party from some members forming alliance with the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

According to Kibiya “The party categorically distance the Kano State chapter from the breakaway members who have formed a coalition under the African Democratic Congress (ADC)”.

“This coalition does not represent the interest of the PDP, and we urge our members to remain focused on our party’s objectives” he added.

Thus, the Kano State PDP is said to be committed to the principles of democracy, discipline and development and calls on all members to continue supporting the party’s leadership for a brighter future of Kano State and Nigeria as a nation.
