LTR Strengthens Pediatric TB Response Through Targeted Screening in Yobe
The Leprosy and Tuberculosis Relief Initiative, through its ASA Health Partners and in collaboration with YOSACA, is currently conducting a focused Tuberculosis screening among children aged 0–10 years in Sabon Gari, Nangere LGA of Yobe State.
This targeted intervention is designed to close the persistent gap in pediatric TB case detection by proactively identifying undiagnosed cases, ensuring early diagnosis, and linking affected children to prompt treatment and care.
In a high-burden setting where children remain disproportionately underserved due to diagnostic challenges and limited access to care, this initiative reflects LTR’s commitment to strengthening community-level response, improving equity in service delivery, and advancing efforts towards ending TB.
Through strategic collaboration and community-focused implementation, LTR continues to drive impactful interventions that ensure no child is left behind.
