Security forces capture 2 notorious kidnappers

Security forces have achieved a significant breakthrough with the apprehension of two notorious suspected kidnappers by troops of the 6 Brigade of the Nigerian Army.

The suspects, identified as Fanku Lulo and Ahmadu Annlgo, have been allegedly involved in a series of high-profile abductions in the region.

Intelligence sources told security analyst and counter insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, that the arrests were made during a joint raid conducted by military personnel and local hunters at Garin Baka and Gongon Maliki in Ardo Kola and Yoro LGAs of Taraba State.

The suspects were said to have been under surveillance for months following reports of multiple kidnappings that had instilled fear within communities.

It was gathered that the duo possessed AK47 rifles and operated their camps in GADAWA within Zunguri village, Baisa I Kurmi LGA.

Additionally, they disclosed that their gang members hailed from Adamawa, Gombe, Plateau states, and Cameroon.
