Seyi Tinubu installed as Okanlomo of Yorubaland

Following the successful installation of Seyi Tinubu as the Okanlomo of Yorubaland by the Alafin Oyo, the Senior Special Assistant to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Citizenship and Leadership Hon. Nasir Bala Aminu Ja’oji (Adon Garin Kasar Hausa) has congratulated Mr. Seyi Tinubu on his installation as the Okanlomo of Yorubaland.

Hon. Ja’oji in a statement said the installation of Mr. Seyi as Okanlomo of Yorubaland by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I, the Alaafin of the Oyo Empire is well-deserved.

He said “This remarkable honour is, to me, a powerful acknowledgment of your character, your loyalty, humility, and genuine respect for the heritage and traditions that bind us as a nation.

“Your installation is not only a personal achievement but also a testament to the high regard in which you are held by the people of Yorubaland. It reflects their confidence in your leadership, your values, and your steady contribution to unity, culture, and community development.

“As Okanlomo, you carry a title steeped in history and significance. I have no doubt that you will uphold its meaning with dignity and continue to represent the Yoruba people with honour, pride, and an unwavering sense of responsibility.

“Your commitment to service and your connection with people across Nigeria have always been evident, and this new honour only reinforces the impact you continue to make.

“I pray that Almighty Allah grants you sound health, clarity of vision, and the wisdom required to excel in this elevated role. May He guide you as you work to strengthen bonds, uplift communities, and contribute to the peace and progress of our great nation,” he concluded.
