He made the call in his address at the 39th Sheikh Ibrahim Inyas Maulud held at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, on Saturday.

The Governor also disclosed that this was the third time Kano hosted the Sheikh Ibrahim Inyas Maulud since it started in the country, and thanked Allah for bestowing the honour on the state.

He also thanked Governor Abba Yusuf, his Deputy, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, and other officials of the State Government for successfully hosting of the event.

Highlights of the event included prayers, reading from the Holy Qur’an and reading the history of the late Sheikh Ibrahim Inyas.
