2027 election: Atiku visits Obasanjo in Abeokuta

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is currently holding a closed-door meeting with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Atiku’s convoy arrived at the OOPL at exactly 12:36 pm on Monday and was received by Otunba Oyewole Fasawe, a close ally of Obasanjo.

In Atiku’s entourage were prominent political figures, including former Governors Liyel Imoke (Cross River) and Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), as well as Senator Abdul Ningi, who represents Bauchi Central.

Although the details of the meeting have not been disclosed, the visit is expected to spark speculations about political alignments and consultations ahead of upcoming national events.
