Kano Pillars FC has suspended its Technical Adviser, Usman Sheriff Abdallah, for three weeks due to his conduct towards fans and the team’s poor performance.

The Independent Mirror reports that the decision was announced in a press statement signed by the Media & Communications Directorate of the club.

The suspension comes after Kano Pillars FC’s goalless draw against Bayelsa United on Sunday, which marked the team’s third unimpressive outing in a row.

With only one win in their last three matches, the management and supporters have expressed concerns over the team’s inconsistent performance.

Usman Abdallah’s gesture towards the fans after the match was deemed inappropriate by the management, prompting the disciplinary action.

The club emphasized its commitment to maintaining professionalism and fostering a respectful relationship between the team and its supporters.

In the interim, club legend and Chief Coach, Ahmed Garba Yaro-Yaro, will take charge of the technical team, supported by assistant coaches Abubakar Musa, Gambo Muhammad, Suleiman Shuaibu, and Ayuba Musa.

The team will focus on stabilizing the squad and improving results, starting with their upcoming NPFL25 Matchday 23 fixture against Remo Stars in Ikenne
