Yanoko Qur’an Graduation: Sanusi Bature Donates N1.2 Million to Empower Education

The Qur’an graduation ceremony of Madarasatul Tahafizul Qur’an in Yanoko, Tofa Local Government Area, was held in grand style on Saturday, January 19, as community leaders, dignitaries, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the 22 graduating students and support the school’s mission of Islamic education.

Topping the list of contributors was Sanusi Bature, Director General of Media to the Kano State Governor, whose extraordinary act of generosity stole the spotlight.

Bature donated a total of N1.2 million, which included N1 million to the school, N20,000 each to the teachers, and N5,000 each to the graduating students.

His contribution not only reaffirmed his dedication to education and Qur’anic memorization but also underscored his commitment to the growth and empowerment of the local community.

Other significant donations came from Hon. Tajjini Jobe, Member of the House of Representatives, who contributed N150,000; Yakubu Adis, Chairman of Tofa Local Government, who donated N50,000; and Hon. Adamu Mainasara, Secretary of Tofa Local Government, with a contribution of N30,000.

The ceremony was a celebration of the students’ hard work in memorizing the Holy Qur’an and a testament to the vital role of Islamic education in shaping future generations.

The overwhelming support from contributors, led by DG Sanusi Bature, highlighted the importance of investing in knowledge and the well-being of educators and students alike.

The management of Madarasatul Tahafizul Qur’an expressed heartfelt appreciation to all donors and prayed for abundant blessings in their lives.

“May Allah reward everyone with goodness and accept their efforts as a means of eternal blessings,” a representative said.
