On Monday morning, bandits launched a terror attack on Danbaza community in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State, kidnapping 47 people.

Mustapha Danbaza, a local resident, reported that eleven members of a single family were among those abducted. This latest incident follows a recent attack where a commercial vehicle carrying passengers was ambushed, with no updates on the fate of those victims.

Maradun, the hometown of former governor and current Minister of State for Defense, Bello Matawalle, has been plagued by ongoing bandit attacks.
The Gora community was also recently targeted, with several individuals abducted, and Janbako and other villages have similarly faced relentless attacks.

ASP Yazid, the spokesman for the State Police Command, stated that he would confirm the details of the incident and provide further information to the press.
