The Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Ali Bukar Dalori on Monday assumed office with a call on the members of the party to strengthen their internal processes, reconnect with their grassroots, and re-energize the structures of the party across all levels to pave way for success in the 2027 election.
He also advised them not to allow crisis during transition to breed disunity but “must avoid actions and words that divide us and focus on what binds us — our shared belief in the promise of Nigeria and the future of the APC.”
Dalori stated these during his first meeting with the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC at the party’s Headquarters in Abuja.
He paid tributes to his predecessor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje who, he said, resigned based on health grounds, adding that since his assumption of office in August 2023, he provided the APC with experienced leadership, steadfast commitment, and a clear sense of direction.
