The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Electoral Committee has released the official timetable for the 2026 NFF Executive Committee elections, with the sale of nomination forms set to commence on Saturday, August 1.
According to the roadmap issued by the Committee, the deadline for the submission of completed nomination forms is Wednesday, August 12, marking the first major phase of the electoral process ahead of the elections scheduled for September 27 in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
Candidates will be notified of any irregularities in their submitted documents between August 13 and 19, while the period for document regularisation will run from August 20 to 27. Screening of candidates is slated for August 27 to 30.
The provisional list of cleared candidates will be published on August 31, with appeals by disqualified candidates accepted from September 1 to 3. The Electoral Committee will determine appeals between September 4 and 10.
The final list of cleared candidates will be released on September 11 and 12, while the official delegates’ list will be published on September 13.
Campaigns by cleared candidates will run from September 14 to 24, ahead of the NFF Executive Committee elections on September 27 in Lafia.
