A frontline aspirant under the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) for the House of Representatives, Gwarzo and Kabo Federal Constituency, Dr. Umar Shu’aibu Gwarzo, has reiterated that his aspiration is rooted in service to the people rather than personal ambition.
At an affirmation ceremony for new defectors into the NNPP from Gwarzo and Kabo Local Government Areas, Dr. Gwarzo, represented by Dr. Baffa Datti Gwarzo, Director administration and General Services of the Ambassador Umar Shu’aibu Gwarzo Foundation, stated:
“My desire to represent Gwarzo and Kabo at the National Assembly is not out of desperation. What drives me is the need to build a stronger, more inclusive, and prosperous community where every citizen can feel the positive impact of government.”
Dr. Gwarzo emphasized that his political journey is anchored on integrity, people-oriented policies, and grassroots engagement. He assured the people of his constituency that, if elected, he will focus on:
Quality education and youth empowerment through scholarships and skills acquisition programs.
Improved healthcare delivery and support for rural clinics.
Agricultural development to boost local farmers and ensure food security.
Job creation and entrepreneurship support for women and young people.
Constituency unity by giving every ward a voice in decision-making.
The Director further highlighted that the Ambassador Umar Shu’aibu Gwarzo Foundation has, for years, been at the forefront of humanitarian interventions in the constituency, ranging from scholarships and medical outreach to water projects and community development initiatives.
Dr. Gwarzo called on supporters, stakeholders, and the entire people of Gwarzo and Kabo to remain steadfast in their commitment to the NNPP and work collectively towards victory in the coming elections.
