Nasarawa APC Mourns Death Of Respected Chieftain, Senator Ewuga

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Nasarawa State has expressed sadness over the death of a respected chieftain of the party, Senator Solomon Aku Ewuga.

In a statement issued by its Publicity Secretary, High Chief Douglas Otaru, the governing party said the deceased was an elder statesman and opinion moulders of great repute.

The party described Senator Ewuga’s death as a colossal loss, stressing that his invaluable contributions to the party, his statesmanship, and his thoughtful positions on nation-building and Nasarawa State affairs will be sorely missed.

“Senator Solomon Ewuga was a towering figure in the history of Nasarawa State. As one of the founding fathers of the state, the first democratically elected Deputy Governor, and a former Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, FCT under President Olusegun Obasanjo, his contributions to the development and shaping of Nasarawa State are immeasurable.

“The APC in Nasarawa State mourns the passing of this great statesman and extends its heartfelt sympathies to the family of Senator Solomon Ewuga, particularly the Eggon nation.

“May his soul rest in peace,” the statement reads further.

Senator Ewuga, who also served as Senator representing Nasarawa North in the 7th Nigerian Senate, died on Tuesday due to ill health.
