The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) have suspended their proposed strike meant to commence on Tuesday for 30 days to allowed the issues be resolved.
NLC President Joe Ajoero disclosed in a letter signed by the labour union with the federal government.
According to him the labour union and the federal government have decided to suspend the planned strike and will continue to monitor the implementation of the agreement reached between the federal government and labour leaders for 30 days.
