Kano NMA, Surgeons draw in friendly match

The Nigerian Medical Association NMA Football team forced it’s Surgeons to a 2-2 draw in a friendly match played at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospitals playing ground.

The match was organized as part of the activities lined up by NMA to celebrate this year’s Physicians week.

Both sides made several attempt to outshines their opponents but despite their efforts it ended 2-2.

At the end of match, prizes and trophies were presented to the deserving players where Dr Nura Hassan Aliyu was adjudge as the Man of the Match and went home with his award.

The chairman NMA Kano State Branch, Dr. Abubakar Nagoma Usman Presented the man of the match award and other consolidate prizes to the deserving individual players at the occasion.

Usman who described sports as a way of keeping body healthy and strong, calling on public to engage in various sports activities in order to maintain and improve fitness.

He, however, expressed gratitude to the players and officials as well as those who have contributed to the success of the activities so far and calling them to keep it up.

Members are expected to continue with NNA’s activities today by attending Jumaa prayer to seek for God blessing and guidance, peace, unity and security countrywide.
