Kano Fire Service Spokesperson Saminu Abdullahi Dies

The Kano State Fire Service has lost its spokesperson, Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Saminu Yusuf Abdullahi.

The death was confirmed to journalists by the divisional head of the Fire Service in Dambatta Local Government Area, PFS2 Muhammad Ibrahim Nasiru, on Wednesday.

His funeral prayer was held at about 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, in Kano State.

According to the service, Saminu Abdullahi played a significant role in communicating the activities of the Kano State Fire Service to the public, particularly on issues concerning fire prevention, emergency response, and the protection of lives and property.

His death has been described as a loss to the Fire Service and the wider community, given his role in providing timely information to the public during emergencies.
