Kano Governor hails Kwankwaso’s political influence on Kano, Nigeria

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has praised the political dynamism of former governor and ex-Minister of Defence, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, saying his political influence has significantly shaped Kano State and Nigeria.

Yusuf stated this while congratulating Kwankwaso on his 70th birthday, describing the milestone as an opportunity to celebrate his life, leadership and contributions to the development of Kano State and the country.

The governor acknowledged Kwankwaso’s significant role in shaping Kano’s political landscape and advancing democratic participation in the state.

He noted that the former governor’s political journey had benefited many people and contributed to the state’s political development.

According to Yusuf, Kwankwaso’s years of public service had been marked by contributions to governance, infrastructure development and the growth of democratic engagement in Kano State.

He said the birthday celebration offered an opportunity to reflect on the former governor’s achievements and enduring influence on the political development of Kano State and Nigeria at large.

Yusuf prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Kwankwaso good health, long life and renewed strength to continue contributing to the development of Kano State and the nation.

The governor also wished the former governor many more years of peace and happiness as he celebrated the milestone.
