The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Board, in Ilorin the Kwara State capital confirmed the death of two of its pilgrims who returned to their maker in Madina, Saudi Arabia.
The deceased according to the board are Saliu Mohammed, who arrived with the third Batch of the state contingents, but died in an intensive care unit of a public hospital in Madina after brief illness while Hajia Hawawu Mohammed from the Batch 9 also died following what Saudi authorities have investigated and found to be an unfortunate suicidal episode from the rooftop of her apartment in Madina.
Relatedly, the Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Abdulsalam Abdulkadir however expressed his profound condolences to the families of the deceased asking Allaah to grant them comfort and forgive the deceased.
