In a significant move to bolster national security and emergency response, the Federal Government has granted approval for the recruitment of qualified Nigerians into four key agencies under the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).
This landmark decision will create over 30,000 new job opportunities, strengthening the workforce of these essential services.
The breakdown of the approved recruitment is as follows:
Correctional Service: 5,150 personnel, Nigeria Immigration Service: 10,000 personnel, Federal Fire Service: 5,000 personnel, Civil Defence: 10,000 personnelCDCFIB Board: 209 personnel
To ensure a transparent and accessible application process, dedicated online portals will open on Friday, June 13, 2025, allowing eligible Nigerians to apply.
The recruitment drive will run for three weeks, providing ample time for interested candidates to submit their applications.
Speaking on the development, Major General RTD Abdulmalik Jibril, Secretary of the CDCFIB Board, emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening national security, improving emergency response capabilities, and creating employment opportunities for Nigerians.
This recruitment drive is expected to enhance the efficiency of these agencies, ensuring better service delivery and reinforcing the nation’s security framework.
