The Senate’s Tuesday plenary session was interrupted by a boisterous session as senators squabbled over seats.
The Senate President, GodsWill Akpabio, read out announcements following the procession, which began at approximately 11:00 a.m.
The announcements included the names of the Senators who had celebrated their birthdays during the Senate’s recess.
It was while the announcement was ongoing that Senator Sahabi Yau (APC, Zamfara North) started to raise his voice at the Senate leader, Opeyemi Bamidele (APC, Ekiti Central) while he in return pointed his finger at Yau as if giving him a stern warning.
