Ebele Integrated Farms and Shengtian Global Innovation Ltd Forge Strategic Partnership for High-Value Crop Development

Ebele Integrated Farms has entered into a strategic partnership with an international agricultural technology consortium, including Shengtian Global Innovation Ltd, to develop high-value crop value chains for the pharmaceutical and beauty industries in Nigeria.

The agreement was finalized today during a meeting at the office of His Excellency President Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, Chairman of Ebele Farms, with consortium representatives including Mr. Abubakar Yerima (key partner, Shengtian Global Innovation Ltd) and Mr. Li Jiaqi (lead technical partner).

Under the partnership, the consortium will provide certified seeds, advanced cultivation systems, processing technology, and global market access, while Ebele Farms contributes land, operational capacity, and local execution.

The initiative will commence with pilot cultivation, scaling to full production of natural active ingredients for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and nutraceuticals. The global market for plant-based active ingredients is valued at approximately $30 billion, with projections reaching $70 billion by 2031, positioning Nigeria to capture a significant share of this growing export market.

The project aims to create jobs, support rural development, and generate foreign exchange, all in full compliance with Nigerian regulations. “This partnership brings world-class technology to Nigeria’s agricultural sector,” said Mr. Abubakar Yerima. “We are committed to building a transparent, bankable, and export-oriented industry.”

Parties will formalize cooperation through an MoU and proceed with technical assessments and pilot implementation.
