Kano Journalist Regains Freedom from detention

Detained Kano Journalist, Ibrahim Ishaq Dan’uwa Rano, over a petition by Abdullahi Rogo, DG Protocol to Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf, alleging defamation, has been released.

Dan’uwa Rano was released from the Zone 1, Police Headquarters in Kano on Sunday at 5.30 pm after the intervention of the state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
