Police nab 2 for alleged manufacturing of fake drinks in Lagos

On Wednesday, December 20, police officers assigned to the Ojo Division region of Lagos State detained one Imo Lawrence and his associate, Magnus Nwonka, for allegedly producing fake drinks in the state.

Lawrence, 35, and Nwonka, 42, were discovered to be in possession of fake drinks.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, verified their arrest on his official X Twitter.

He explained: “In the course of investigation, the suspects led detectives to their inconspicuous, multi-room ‘factory.’”

Hundeyin disclosed that further investigation was ongoing on the discovery.
