Soun Visits NRS Chair, Seeks Stronger Partnership for Ogbomosoland’s Development

The Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, has paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Dr. Zacch Adedeji, as part of efforts to strengthen partnerships for the development of Ogbomosoland.

The visit, which followed the monarch’s meeting with the Inspector-General of Police, was attended by members of the Soun’s delegation.

According to Oba Olaoye, the meeting was warm, engaging and productive, with discussions centred on the continued growth, development and future of Ogbomosoland. He said both parties reflected on the vast potential of the ancient town and the need to foster stronger collaborations that would create sustainable opportunities for residents and future generations.

During the meeting, the monarch also conveyed the appreciation of the people of Ogbomosoland to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving key road projects across the area. He noted that the projects would improve connectivity, boost economic activities, enhance the quality of life of residents and accelerate the overall development of Ogbomosoland.

Oba Olaoye further commended Dr. Zacch Adedeji for his outstanding service to the nation and his unwavering commitment to the progress of Ogbomosoland, describing him as one of the community’s most distinguished sons and an exemplary ambassador.

The Soun expressed confidence that greater unity and collaboration among sons and daughters of Ogbomosoland would pave the way for a more prosperous and secure future, urging all stakeholders to remain committed to the shared vision of sustainable development for the community.
