2027: Bichi rallies Kano APC lawmakers, candidates for Tinubu, Yusuf’s victory

The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, Abubakar Kabir Bichi, has met with APC members of the Kano State House of Assembly and 40 candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections to strategize on how to secure victory for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The meeting, held at Bichi’s office in Bichi Local Government Area on Sunday evening, was attended by the state lawmakers and candidates led by the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Jibril Ismail Falgore.

Bichi, who represents Bichi Federal Constituency, said the meeting focused on coordinating campaign programmes and strategies to ensure the success of the APC at all levels in the forthcoming elections.

In a statement after the meeting, the lawmaker said the gathering was convened to discuss crucial political issues and strengthen collaboration among party stakeholders ahead of the polls.

He said the participants deliberated on how best to coordinate their activities to deliver Tinubu and Yusuf, as well as the APC, in the 2027 elections.

“Yesterday evening, Sunday, November 1, 2026, I had the honour of convening a strategic meeting with all APC State Assembly Members and 40 candidates ahead of the 2027 General Elections, at my office in Bichi,” he said.

Bichi expressed appreciation to Falgore and other participants for honouring his invitation, stressing the need for unity among party members to achieve their political objectives.

“I appreciate the Speaker and all members for honouring the invitation. Unity is our strength, and together we will deliver victory, Insha Allah,” he said.
