Governor Yusuf Celebrates Zulum at 57

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has felicitated his Borno State counterpart and friend, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, on the occasion of his 56th birthday.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s spokesman, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Wednesday.

The governor describing him as a courageous and resilient leader committed to the peace, security and development of his people.

He also commended him for his tenacity and steadfastness in managing the affairs of Borno State amid prolonged tension, fear and uncertainty arising from the state’s security challenges.

He said Zulum’s leadership has demonstrated uncommon courage, compassion and determination, particularly in ensuring that government continues to function and provide essential services despite the difficult circumstances confronting the state.

“Zulum is not only my colleague but also my friend and a leader whose courage and commitment to his people are worthy of commendation.

“His ability to remain focused on governance in the face of tension, fear and uncertainty is a testament to his resilience and strong sense of responsibility,” Governor Yusuf said.

The Kano Governor prayed to Allah to grant Professor Zulum continued good health, wisdom and strength to serve his people and contribute to the progress and unity of Nigeria.

He also wished the Borno State Governor many more years of fruitful service, peace and fulfilment.
