FG Denies Akume’s Removal as SGF

Federal Government has described as untrue the news making the round that Senator George Akume has been sacked as Secretary to the Government of the Federation

This was contained in a statement made by the President’s Adviser on Information Chief Bayo Onanuga

It described the story as fake news, baseless,unfounded , bogus and above all figments of the imagination aimed at causing misunderstanding

It added that the former Benue State Governor is still on the exalted seat dishing orders to his inferior officers

It maintained that the speculation made that Hajiya Hadiza Bala Usman was appointed to oversee the affairs of the office was unbecoming , malicious concocted and have no roots

It stressed the need for the wider generality to guard against taking stories that did not emanate from independent and genuine sources as it may lead to rift across the wider environment.
