South African leading entertainment company, Multichoice, has announced upward review of DStv and GOtv packages.
The company announced the increase in price via emails sent to its million of customers in Nigeria.
“It remains our mission to provide the best entertainment and viewing experience to you and are committed to continue to deliver high-quality content and unparalleled service.
“So, from Wednesday, 1 May 2024, the price adjustment will take effect.
“We thank you for your continued patronage and support.
“Yours sincerely,” the email said.
In the email, seen by BizPoint on Wednesday, the company, which has its products and services used by over 23.5 million households in 50 markets across sub-Saharan Africa, said the price adjustment would take effect from 1 May, 2024.
The email, signed by John Ugbe, its
Chief Executive Officer, said “we understand the impact this change may have on you – our valued customer, but the rise in the cost of business operations, has led us to make this difficult decision.
