Hon. Usman Mahdi Baderi has expressed deep sorrow over the recent blast in Maiduguri, extending heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives.
In a statement, Baderi described the incident as tragic and prayed for the repose of the departed souls, asking Almighty Allah to grant their families the strength and patience to bear the painful loss.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. May Almighty Allah forgive their shortcomings and grant them Aljannatul Firdaus, while comforting those they left behind,” Baderi said.
He also commended the Borno State Government for its continued efforts in strengthening security and protecting lives and property across the state.
Baderi called on residents to remain vigilant and proactive, urging communities to promptly report any suspicious movements or individuals to relevant authorities, including the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police Force, and the Civilian Joint Task Force.
“Security is a collective responsibility. It should not be left to security agencies alone. Every citizen has a role to play in safeguarding our communities,” he stated.
He emphasized that through unity, cooperation, and prayers, lasting peace can be restored in Borno State and Nigeria as a whole.
