Alhassan Mohammed Baba, Technical Adviser on Community Inclusion and Girl Child Development, says President Tinubu is doing his best to improve human development and create opportunities for Nigerians.
Baba gave the assurance in Abuja while highlighting the administration’s efforts in promoting human development, community inclusion and girl-child development.
He said the President was making efforts to address challenges confronting Nigerians, adding that the administration remained committed to policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of citizens.
According to him, human development requires sustained investment in people, particularly women, girls, young people and vulnerable members of society.
Baba said the administration’s focus on empowering citizens would help communities become more productive and contribute to the country’s economic and social development.
He urged Nigerians to remain patient and supportive of the government, noting that meaningful development required time, consistency and cooperation between the government and citizens.
The technical adviser also called for stronger collaboration among government institutions, communities, civil society organisations and other stakeholders to ensure that development programmes reached those who needed them most.
He said greater attention to community inclusion and girl-child development would help reduce inequalities and provide more Nigerians with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to national development.
Baba expressed optimism that with continued commitment and effective implementation of government programmes, Nigerians would experience greater improvements in human development and social inclusion under the next administration. (NAN)
