FEPSGA Games: Kano Sports Commission boss to inspect facilities Monday

The Executive Chairman of Kano state Sports Commission, Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Babangida is expected to lead others top government officials on Monday 20th, 2026 to inspect facilities ahead of the 45th annual Public Service Games scheduled to hold between October 6th and 16th, 2026 in Kano.

Over eight thousand participants from eighty federal agencies across the federation and the federal capital Abuja are expected to storm the ancient city of Kano for the championships.

Kano state government had already secured the hosting right as part of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s commitment and determination to sustain the cordial relationship between workers and the government as well as improve their health through sports.

Speaking on the arrangements so far, Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Babangida said that inspecting the facilities venues was part of his commission commitment to ensure the success and hitch-free games.

While appreciating the the Governor Yusuf’s commitment and unflinching support to sports development, he assured that all hands must be on deck by the stakeholders aimed at continue projecting the good image of the Pyramids City during the championships.

”we are working with the office of the state head of service closely in order to actualise the set objectives,” Babangida concluded
