The national president of the association for Table Water producers of Nigeria ATWAP Clementina Ativie has bow out of office after a successful tenure .
Ativie who assumed duty as the national president of ATWAP in 2017 commended the people for the trust given to her.

According to her, “Today is not just another convention day; it is a moment of reflection, gratitude, accountability, and transition.
I stand before you with a heart full of thanksgiving as I recall our journey together—a journey that began in Port Harcourt in 2017, when, by your confidence and overwhelming support, you entrusted me with the responsibility of serving as the National President of ATWAP.
At that time, the task before us was daunting.
The Association faced so many challenges that tested our unity, credibility, and resilience such as: Regulatory pressures, industry fragmentation, internal disputes, and economic uncertainties that threatened the stability of our operations nationwide, yet, in the midst of those challenges, we chose cooperation over conflict, dialogue over division, and vision over fear.
From 2017 to date, spanning two full terms of office of four years each term, we have collectively worked to reposition ATWAP as a more structured, inclusive, nationally and internationally respected professional body in water industry.
ATWAP is now a certified member of International Water Association (IWA) since 2023.

Together, we strengthened engagement with regulatory authorities, promoted better compliance culture among our members, encouraged state chapters to grow in organization and relevance, and consistently upheld the ideals of fairness, transparency, and service.”
“We expanded consultation across zones, gave stronger voices to state chapters, and ensured that ATWAP remained truly national in outlook, not dominated by any region, but driven by collective interest. Through cooperation with partners and stakeholders, we sustained advocacy for the welfare of table water producers, especially in times of harsh economic realities. Today we can beat our chest and say that ATWAP structures are in all the 36 states of the federation and FCT and also say that each State chapters has structures in the local areas of their States.
The two day ATWAP Delegate came to a close, with Convention producing a new set of National Executive with emergence of Alhaji AbdulHakim Mudathir (North East) as President; Pastor Okey AbdulKarim (SS) VP1;
Mr. Terna JulianGile (North Central) as Secretary General while Alhaji Adegboyega Oladejo (SW)elected as National Financial and Alhaji Jiddah Omobolaji Allison as National Welfare. The position of Assistant Secretary goes to SE.
This is the first time the Association is witnessing an opportunity and a level playing ground for all the Candidates to showcase their competence and worth to climb the various positions at the National level.
