The minister in-charge of First Baptist Church Kano, Rev Dr. Armstrong Olatunde Ajayi, has extolled the virtues of unconditional love and immeasurable sacrifice as the defining hallmarks of fatherhood and the bedrock upon which families and society are built.

In a message on Sunday to commemorate the 2026 Father’s Day celebration with the theme of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Men Missionary Union titled; “Fathers as Kingdom Builders”.

Ajayi paid glowing tributes to fathers for serving as the pillars that hold families together and, by extension, strengthen communities across the globe.

He further said that regeneration, beckoning on God’s Word, living an exemplary lifestyle, building godly altar and obedience to God at all time are criteria for contemporary fathers to be kingdom builders.

Similarly, Ajayi calls on all fathers across the globe to provide resources at home, leadership in all spheres, take responsibility first in the family and build their homes with eternity in view because rewards awaits all fathers from God.
